What is your style ?

I love fun, natural, beautiful and original pictures. You can see some of my work on this website, but feel free to contact me to see more of what I do, or visit my blog.

How long will you stay at our wedding ?

I come when you want, and leave a bit after the opening of the night dance,

Do we need to prepare something ?

Yes, just think of the group pictures you don’t want to miss, and pick one person in each of your families that will be able to regroup these persons at the right moment. There is soo much you will have to think about during the day that it is easier to delegate this to someone else :-)

What do you wear during the wedding ?

I move, I put myself on the ground, I dance, I run...not easy in a costume. You will usually see me wearing a nice pant and shirt,

How do you fit in the wedding ?

I try to be part of the wedding, shooting it as I see and feel it. I speak with the guests, have fun with everyone, run all over the places...and still very discreet...

What equipment do you use ?

I am a canon guy. I use a 20 Megapixel canon 5DMII and various excellent lenses such as 50 f1,4 ; 85 f1,2 ; 24-70 f2,8 ; 70-200 f2,8 IS. I use my friend the sun to light my scenes, and help with some flashes/reflectors when necessary.

How long does it take to receive the pictures ?

I usually give you the DVD with all pictures 3 weeks after the wedding. Should you wish to order an album, count an extra 2 weeks or so.

Do you retouch the pictures ?

All pictures are taken “RAW”, meaning with maximum details and no processing. They then require adjustments in white balance, saturation, contrasts and exposure to make them look the way it was and the way I want. I also do some black & white, sepia and other nice treatments when appropriate.

How can we book a date ?

Contact me to check availabilities and let’s meet together to know each other better, I love to meet new people !

What is an engagement session ?

It is a « pre-wedding » photo session, where we go take some very nice pictures in a normal outfit with just the two of you in different places. It is very popular in the united states and little by little arriving in Europe as well. The session usually takes place long before the wedding, as an « engagement » shoot to already have beautiful pictures.

What is a « trass the dress » session ?

This new crazy concept is coming from a well reputated photographer (John Michael Cooper) who decided to shoot « different » wedding pictures…in a « trash » way :-) Basically, it is a session that takes place any time after the wedding, where the goal is to get CRAZY pictures. But you’d better not be affraid to « trash your dress », meaning going in water, dirt places, putting ketchup on it … (even though a soft version is also possible hehe). I love the concept, so if you’re in…let’s do it !

Do you do weddings outside Belgium ?

Yes, this is something I love to do ! I’ve covered weddings in Spain, France and Africa over the past years and totally loved to shoot new places, new athmosperes and new wedding styles,. I speak french, spanish, english and I’m very open to all other cultures, which allows me to enjoy these weddings a lot. Just add a cheap ticket and a place to sleep, and I’d be more than happy to cover your wedding overseas. I’ve always dreamed to do a wedding at the beach (can’t believe it did not happen yet !) :-)

What else should we know ?

I do a very limited number of weddings per year, to keep the passion alive and take the necessary time to treat perfectly each images. I do not want to become one of these bored photographers who just do volume for money and do not care about quality in the end...beark ! :-)
In addition, what kind of man would let her girlfriend/wife alone all saturdays :-) ?
